The reporters were on a holiday, and decided to give Manila Ocean Park a visit. We brought our Media IDs, and we all wore striped shirts (only a coincidence). Blue was such a warm color.

How to heal a broken heart. There are probably a million ways. Everyone can tell you at least a thing or two. But everything may seem impossible if the injury is only a day old.

Then again, my friends came to the rescue, anyway. They forced me out of bed. But at least, they fed me good food; took me to Daranak Falls in Tanay, Rizal; and most importantly, gave me good coffee. It was such a refreshing day (despite my abominable state). My eyes were swollen, but I loved the view. I felt normal for a day.

The Subic Way

The Subic Way
We went to Subic on a weekday. Not because we planned this trip, but because my father had a conference meeting in the province for a couple of days. We visited him last Wednesday, and also did a little sight-seeing.

We stayed were Papa was staying. Here's the view from our room at Marina Hotel & Resort.

Since we only had two days, we wasted no time and started the adventure at Ocean Adventure. The heat was excruciating. And we had to do a lot of walking. But it was still fun.

The next day, we opted for more than just walking as an activity. We went to Treetop Adventure, and unleashed the inner beasts in us. We tried the Silver Surfer, Interactive Freefall, and my favorite, Tree Drop Adventure. All activities involved heights, nature, and just great fun.

Of course, a Subic tour is not a "Subic tour" without having to visit the Subic Safari.

Just a good way to end a stressful week right.
